Register your CCTV cameras to help us solve crime in your area.

If you have CCTV or doorbell cameras at your business or home address, register them today with Hampshire & IOW Constabulary’s Community Portal to help us deter and solve crimes.

By registering your cameras with the NICE Community Portal you will streamline the information exchange, making it easier for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary to identify potential evidential footage when investigating a crime in your area. It will simplify the process of providing digital evidence to the Investigating Officer.

The service is free of charge and entirely voluntary. By registering with the Community Portal, you are not giving Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary access to your CCTV system, you are purely making it easier for us to request and collect footage we may require for an investigation. The only footage we will ever have access to, is the footage you send to us. 

The benefits of registering to the Community Portal are:

• There is no longer a need to provide a disc or USB when reporting an incident and providing evidence.
  
  
• A digital request for media will be sent from Hampshire and Isle of Wight  Constabulary direct to your Community Portal account. You will receive an auto generated email containing a secure link to quickly & easily upload the requested footage. 
  
  
• By responding to the request, the footage will be automatically linked to the case file for the investigating officer to review.
