Our Corporate Communications Department is responsible for the force's external and internal communications. We follow the national guidance on contact with the media and our internal social media policy. You can find out more about how we can assist the media by reading our Media Guide.

If you have an urgent media query regarding a serious or critical incident outside of our normal office hours, please email the force control room for the attention of the Force Incident Manager. They will contact the on-call communications officer as appropriate.
If you'd like us to supply a photograph of a person convicted at court, please complete our online form.
We receive many requests for filming and providing facilities relating to both operational and non-operational matters. At this time we are not considering any new documentary or TV series requests. If you have a request not related to these areas, please complete our documentary request form.
This service is only available to accredited journalists or media organisations that we recognise and provide a service to. If you have any questions, or your filming request is urgent, please contact us in the first instance.
We also design and deliver campaigns to help prevent and solve crimes. This work involves a range of methods to give reliable information and advice that can raise awareness and confidence in policing. We encourage you to look and listen to our campaigns on this site, reinforcing our combined community efforts to protect vulnerable people and bring criminals to justice.
