Assistant Chief Constable Maggie Blyth, said: “Today (Monday 19 July), we have taken the final step out of lockdown, a milestone we have all been looking forward to for many months. All remaining legal restrictions have been lifted, meaning there is no limit on people gathering inside their homes or outdoor spaces, weddings can be celebrated in full, and entertainment venues such as theatres and nightclubs can operate again.
