This information relates to what we spend and how we spend it. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) defines this as 'financial information relating to projected and actual income and expenditure, tendering, procurement and contracts'. The statement of accounts, which state the financial position of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and the constabulary, and includes the Revenue Budget and Capital Programme, will be published annually, after it has been reviewed by the Chief Finance Officer for the Police and Crime Commissioner and presented to the external auditors for audit review. Separate Statements of Accounts are required for the Chief Constable and the Police and Crime Commissioner, and the Police and Crime Commissioner’s accounts are group accounts which include the Chief Constable’s accounts.
