Officers have today (Wednesday 3 June) carried out a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address in Bishopstoke.
First thing this morning, Eastleigh’s Neighbourhood Enforcement Team (NET) forced entry to the property on Underwood Road.
Once inside, items were seized, including suspected Class A drugs, and two men arrested.
A 40-year-old man from Bishopstoke was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a Class A drug and being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.
Meanwhile, a 56-year-old man from Fair Oak was arrested on suspicion of non-dwelling burglary. He remains in police custody at this time.
The arrest follows a reported burglary at a business premises on Spring Lane, Colden Common in the early hours of the morning on Friday 20 February.
The Bishopstoke man has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
