A man has been charged with burglary offences in Stockbridge and Littleton.
Officers received a report that a handbag had been stolen from an address on Deane Down Drove in Littleton on Tuesday 31 March. A stolen bank card was then used to withdraw £200 from the ATM outside Tesco Express on Priors Dean Road in Winchester.
We also received a report that a handbag had been stolen from an address on Nelson Close, Stockbridge, on Monday 1 June and an attempt was made to use a bank card at the same ATM.
Officers launched an investigation and made an arrest in connection with the reports after they stopped a man driving a car in Chandler’s Ford yesterday (8 June).
