A driver has been arrested after a police dog located multiple bags of suspected cocaine following a proactive stop in Hartley Wintney this morning.
An officer from the Road Policing Unit was on patrol when he noticed suspicious activity linked to a Vauxhall Astra on the A30 at around 4am on Tuesday 16 June.
The car was stopped and the driver took a preliminary saliva test, which gave an indication for cocaine.
The Dog Unit then arrived to carry out a search and police dog Major located 18 snap bags of suspected Class A drugs hidden inside the vehicle. All items were seized.
