A man has been arrested after a police dog located suspected Class A drugs following a proactive stop in Farnborough this morning.
Officers were on patrol when they noticed suspicious activity linked to a silver Mercedes car on Farnborough Road at around 2am on Tuesday 15 June.
The vehicle came to a stop in Queen Victoria Court and due to suspicious circumstances at the scene, the vehicle was searched by the Dog Unit.
Police dog Major showed an interest in the driver and later located a sock containing 29 bags of suspected Class A drugs inside the vehicle.
The driver then carried out a roadside drugs test, which came back as positive for cocaine.
