Officers investigating the death of Tia Langdon in Southampton have tonight (September 2) charged a man with manslaughter.

Police responded to an incident in Cuckmere Lane around 2.45pm on Thursday 28th August to a female who had suffered significant injuries.
Emergency services attended, and Tia, 25, from Southampton, was taken to hospital for treatment. However, she tragically died as a result of her injuries.
As part of our enquiries, we established a man and woman had been at the address with Tia at the time, and our investigation team have been examining the circumstances that led up to Tia's death.
After consulting with the CPS, we have today charged a man with eight offences.
British born Jaiden Hassan-Agard, 18, of Stour Close, Southampton, who identifies as Mixed White and Black Caribbean, has been charged with the manslaughter of Tia.
Officers have also charged him with making threats to kill, false imprisonment, and threatening with an offensive weapon in a private place in relation to Tia and the second woman who was at the address at the time.
He has been further charged with kidnap relating to the second victim.
Hassan-Agard has been remanded in custody to appear before Southampton Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning (September 3).
