Officers have arrested four men following the execution of two warrants in the New Forest this morning (Wednesday 8 January).
One was at an address on Nutshalling Close, Calmore, while another took place on Burnt House Lane, Bransgore.
Officers carried out the warrants at approximately 6am. At the Burnt House Lane property, a 48-year-old man from Bransgore was arrested on suspicion of conspire to steal a motor vehicle / conspire to steal from a motor vehicle / conspire to commit a burglary with intent to steal / conspire to receive stolen goods / and participate in the criminal activities of an organised crime group.
Meanwhile, at the Nutshalling Close address, a 21-year-old man from Bransgore was arrested on suspicion of conspire to steal a motor vehicle / conspire to steal from a motor vehicle / conspire to commit a burglary with intent to steal / conspire to receive stolen goods / and participate in the criminal activities of an organised crime group.
Also at the Nutshalling Close address, a 22-year-old man and 21-year-old man, both from Bransgore, were arrested on suspicion of conspire to steal a motor vehicle / conspire to commit burglary dwelling with intent to steal / and conspire to receive stolen goods.
All four men currently remain in police custody.
Among the items also seized were mobile phones, suspected stolen tools and weapons - prohibited knives.
Among those involved in the operation were officers from New Forest Priority Crime Team, Ringwood, Fordingbridge and Waterside Neighbourhood Policing Teams, the Dog Support Unit, and District Policing Teams.
