A man from Farnborough has been arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and assault.
Officers received reports that items had been stolen from various stores in Farnborough, Yateley and Hook between June and October this year.
Meanwhile, on 5 August, officers received a report that a man was assaulted in Farnborough.
Officers also received a report that a man was assaulted in Yateley on 30 August.
A 42-year-old man from Farnborough has been arrested on suspicion of 15 counts of theft from a shop.
He was also arrested on suspicion of racially/religiously aggravated common assault/beating, affray and assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm.
The man remains in custody while our enquiries are ongoing.
