Officers investigating burglary in Portsmouth have charged a man in connection with five incidents.
Following an investigation by Hampshire Constabulary's specialist burglary team, Operation Hawk, Yusuf Janneh, 20, of Shackleton Way in Newham, has been charged with five counts of dwelling burglary and five counts of fraud by false representation in connection with the following incidents:
Janneh has been reamanded in custody and is next due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on Wednesday 12 April.
We have also arrested an 18-year-old man from Portsmouth in connection with the Kensington Road, Spenlow Close and St Swithuns Road burglaries. He has been released on conditional police bail while our enquiries continue.
A 20-year-old man from London was arrested in connection with the Spenlow Close burglary and has been released on conditional police bail while our enquiries continue.
