The family of a motorcyclist who sadly died following a collision on Yarmouth Road have paid tribute to him.
Graham Nightingale was riding his Yamaha XVS when it was involved in a collision with a Ford Transit van around 6.43pm on Saturday 21 May.
Despite best efforts, the 64-year-old, of Crescent Road, Shanklin, was pronounced dead.
Paying tribute to him, his family said: "Graham was caught in his prime, loving his life and living the dream on the golf course by the sea and riding his beloved motorbike.
"He was an amazing, loyal husband, with a constant sense of humour.
"Beloved father, stepfather and grandad AKA 'Pappi', he leaves behind his soulmate Heidi, children Emma and James, stepchildren Charlotte and Philip and eight grandchildren."
Enquiries into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
