We are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Southampton.
At just before 10pm yesterday (10 May), officers were called to reports of an unknown man armed with a knife forcing entry into a property on Weston Grove Road. No one in the property was hurt
Officers attended, but the man had left the scene prior to their arrival. Enquiries are ongoing to identify and locate him.
During a search of the property, a 17‑year‑old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug - cannabis/cannabis resin and being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug - cannabis. He remains in custody.
We believe several people were in the area at the time of the incident and that some may have taken photos or videos.
We are keen to hear from anyone who was nearby and witnessed the incident, or who may have captured footage that could assist our investigation.
