We are appealing for witnesses and information following a robbery incident in Aldershot.
Officers were called to a report that a woman in her 60s had a gold necklace pulled from her neck as she walked along North Lane at 9.35am on Sunday 31 May.
Before the incident took place, the woman was approached by a slow-moving silver car containing multiple occupants.
The victim was then offered £10 by a woman inside the vehicle. The same woman then got out of the car, pulled the necklace from the woman’s neck, and then re-entered the vehicle which made off towards the town centre.
Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out enquiries and would like to hear from witnesses who may have information.
Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness the incident or any suspicious behaviour? Do you have any dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage that could help our enquiries?
