Appeal for witnesses following serious motorbike collision in Swaythling

We’re appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Swaythling this morning (Saturday 20 June).

Police were called at 1.01am after a silver Nissan Qashqai and a motorbike collided on Mansbridge Road, near its junction with Octavia Road.

The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old man, suffered serious and life-threatening injuries, and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers continue to make enquiries into the collision, and we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident, captured it on Dash Cam, or perhaps has local CCTV footage that could assist our enquiries.
