Appeal made in Andover robbery investigation

We are appealing for information following a report that a man was robbed in Andover.

The incident took place in New Street, near the junction with Corunna Main, at around 10.15pm on Saturday 25 July.

It was reported that the victim, a man in 50s, was approached from behind by another man. He was pushed to the ground and then kicked.

A number of items were taken from his pockets, including a Samsung mobile phone in a black case, a bank card, a wallet containing around £35 in cash, and a keyring with keys and a bottle opener attached.

The suspect left the scene on foot.

The victim sustained minor injuries that did not require hospital treatment.

An investigation is now underway, and we would like to hear from anyone with information that could help our enquiries.
