Appeal following collision in Soberton

Officers are appealing for information after a cyclist was injured in Newtown, Soberton.

At some time between 10.20am and 10.30am on Friday, July 24 a collision occurred involving a cyclist and a van on Church Road, Newtown.

The driver of the van slowed down following the collision but then drove off without leaving their details.

The cyclist, a 29-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.

The van is described as white with signwriting, with ladders on top.

We’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision or anyone who has dashcam footage that may have recorded the incident or the van in the area. We know there was a black Range Rover driving ahead of the van at the time of the incident. Were you driving this car? Did you see what happened?
