We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A339 near Ibworth.
We were called at 2.10pm yesterday (7 April) to reports of a collision on the A339, close to Pitt Hall Farm Cottages, involving a silver Citroen C3 and a black Range Rover.
The Citroen, which was travelling from the Kingsclere direction towards Basingstoke, collided with the Range Rover travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver and passenger of the Citroen – both women aged in their 30s – sustained serious and potentially life-changing injuries and were taken to hospital, where they remain receiving treatment.
The driver of the Range Rover, a man in his 40s, was uninjured.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
As part of our enquiries, we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, the moments leading up to it, or the immediate aftermath. We are also keen to speak with anyone who may have relevant dash cam footage.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference 44260161768.
