Appeal for witnesses and information following incident in Southampton

We are issuing an e-fit image of a man we would like to speak to following a reported incident in the play park on Archery Road, Southampton.

During the incident, which occurred between 6.15pm and 6.30pm on Wednesday 15 October, it’s reported that a teenage girl was approached and spoken to by an unknown man. At the same time, the man also had his hand inside his trousers.

The man we’d like to speak to in connection with this incident is described as;

• White, but tanned
• Aged in his mid-50s
• Slim build
• Mostly bald but with some wispy hair
• Grey beard
• Tattoo on the back of the hand
• Average height
• Wearing a grey zip-up jacket and black trousers

We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and recalls seeing a man matching the above description. Even if you didn’t see the man, do you recognise the e-fit image? Do you have any footage, including mobile phone or CCTV, which may assist us?
