We are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an attempted robbery in Gosport.
Police were called just before 9pm on Sunday 9 November to Morrisons on Forton Road.
It was reported a male had tried to steal several items and when he was confronted by staff and members of the public he brandished a Stanley knife.
A 37-year-old man from Fareham was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He remains in custody at this time.
