Aldershot v Woking appeal.JPG

We are issuing images of two men we would like to speak to following disorder at the end of a football match in Aldershot last month.

On Saturday 5 April Aldershot Town hosted Woking in the semi-final of the FA Trophy and at the end of the match there were some incidents involving fans who invaded the pitch.

As a result, five people have been arrested so far, and our dedicated Football Unit is looking into several further incidents including offences under the Football Offences Act 1991.

- Lewis Coles, 19, of Wedmans Lane in Hook, has been charged with throwing a missile, going onto the playing area at a football match and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He appeared at Basingstoke magistrates court on 22 May, where he was handed an £80 fine, £85 costs, £96 victim surcharge and a three year football banning order.

- Alfie Smith, 26, of Wharf Road in Aldershot, has been charged with going onto the playing area at a football match and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He will appear at Basingstoke magistrates court on 11 June.

- A 21-year-old man from Woking was arrested on suspicion of common assault and going onto the playing area at a football match. He has been released on bail until 5 July while enquiries continue.

- A 22-year-old man from Aldershot was arrested on suspicion of common assault and going onto the playing area at a football match. He has been released on bail until 5 July while enquiries continue.

- A 30-year-old man from Aldershot was arrested on suspicion of going onto the playing area at a football match and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He has been bailed until 9 August while enquiries continue.

As we continue to investigate several other reported incidents, we are issuing images of two men we would like to identify and speak to.

If you know who either of these men are, please contact us.
