Appeal for witnesses and mobile phone footage following large fight in Alton

We’re appealing for witnesses to an incident which took place at around 1am on Saturday 26 April on Alton High Street.

Police were called to the area, at the junction of Draymans Way, following reports of a fight. Approximately 10 people are believed to have been involved.

On arrival, officers located a woman in her 60s with head injuries, who was taken to hospital for treatment.

We’ve been conducting a number of enquiries including reviewing CCTV, and we believe there were a lot of people in the area who witnessed this, including members of the public recording the incident on their mobile phones.
