We are appealing for witnesses and information after reports that a 14 year-old boy from Hill Head was assaulted on his way home from school.
Officers were called with reports that at around 2:30pm on Wednesday 5 March, a teenage boy had been assaulted by an unknown person/persons as he walked through a grassy area between Crofton Hammond Junior School and Bells Lane in Stubbington.
His parents took him to hospital where he was treated for injuries to his face and neck.
We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or saw anyone behaving suspiciously in this area around this time.
We would also like to hear from anyone who has CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage of the area from around this time.
