CCTV image released following shoplifting incident in Chandler’s Ford

Officers investigating reports of a theft from a shop would like to speak with him in connection with an incident in Chandler’s Ford.

It follows a report of an incident by staff at the Southern Co-Operative store on Falkland Court in Chandler’s Ford at around 6.30pm on Friday 6 December 2024.

It is alleged that the man was seen by CCTV cameras to be concealing a large quantity of confectionary into pockets of clothing – totalling an approximate cost of £270 – before leaving the store without making reasonable efforts to pay for the items.

Officers have been conducting enquiries in the local area and are now in a position to release an image of a man that they believe may be able to help them with their enquiries in relation to the matter.
