Appeal following collision in Southampton

We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Southampton.

Police were called at 2.40pm yesterday (4/2) to a report of a collision on Portswood Road, involving a white Ford Transit van and a black e-scooter.

The rider of the e-scooter, a 17-year-old male from Southampton, suffered serious injuries and is currently being treated in hospital.

As part of our investigation, we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident and anyone with relevant dash cam or CCTV footage.
