We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Basingstoke
Between 2pm and 3.30pm on Saturday 23 August, an unknown male riding an e-scooter on Landseer Close has been involved in a collision with a 12-year-old male pedestrian.
The boy suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The e-scooter rider, described as aged in his late teens and wearing a grey hoodie and a black face covering, did not stop at the scene.
We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident. We would particularly like to speak to anyone with relevant dash cam or CCTV footage showing the direction of travel of the e-scooter rider after the collision.
Anyone with information should call 101 quoting reference 44250382214.
