Do you recognise this woman?
Officers investigating the report of a theft of a handbag in Southampton would like to speak with her.
We received a report that a handbag was taken from the Sainsbury’s store in Lordshill at around 12.15pm on 30 August.
It was reported that the woman, who is in her 70s, put her bag down and left the store. When she returned, it had been taken.
The bag contained cash, her phone, bus pass, keys and debit card.
Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and are now in a position to release an image of a woman we would like to speak to.
She has been described as being white, aged between 35-45, 5ft 5ins tall, with long dark hair in a ponytail.
Do you recognise the woman? Were you in the shop at the time? Did you witness any suspicious behaviour?
