Appeal for witnesses following assault in Hamble

We are appealing for witnesses following an assault on Green Lane, Hamble last night (Friday 24 May).
The incident, which is reported to have occurred between the lifeboat station and jetty, took place between 11.30pm and midnight.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was approached by two unknown men and hit with a glass bottle.
The incident left him requiring hospital treatment. Thankfully, he suffered no serious injuries.
The two men we’d like to speak to in connection with this incident are described as white and aged between 20 and 30 years. One of the men was wearing a blue hooded top, with the hood up, and grey jeans.
