Appeal following fatal collision near Andover

We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fatal collision near Andover.

We were called to a road traffic collision outside The Hawk Inn on Sarson Lane, Amport, at about 3.20pm on 4 April.

This involved a blue Volkswagen Polo.

One of the passengers of the Polo, an 80-year-old woman from Andover, suffered serious injuries and sadly died at the scene.

The driver of the Polo, an 81-year-old woman from Somerset, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and has been released on bail until 4 July while enquiries continue.
