Officers in Basingstoke are investigating after a man found an Airtag taped to the underside of his car.
The device was found yesterday (December 20) taped to the Mitsubishi.
Further enquiries have found a rider on a motorbike with no registration number visible approached the vehicle in Trinity Way between 4.30pm and 5.30pm the same day, after the Airtag had been found.
As part of our ongoing investigation, officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Trinity Way area in recent days, in particular anyone who may have footage from a doorbell camera, dash cam or CCTV of a motorbike with no visible registration plate visible.
If you find a small device taped to the underside of your car, we would also like to hear from you as we conduct our enquiries.
Anyone with information can call 101, quoting the reference 44240553784.
