We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fatal collision in Marchwood.
Police were called at 11.29pm on Friday 16 August to reports of a serious collision on Normandy Way.
This involved one vehicle, a blue Ford Ka, which collided with a tree.
Officers and colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service attended, but despite the best efforts from emergency workers, a 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
An 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital where she has been treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
We are asking that any witnesses or those with relevant dash cam footage please call 101 quoting reference 44240352481.
