We are appealing for information following a public order incident in the Cricketers Way area of Andover.
The incident took place around 8.30pm on Sunday 31 March. It was reported that a man with weapons was seen running along a footpath that leads towards Cricketers Way from Cowdrey Square.
We have had no reports of injuries in connection with this incident.
Officers attended and an imitation firearm and a machete were seized.
A 21-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm.
He was later released from custody on conditional police bail until Sunday 30 June, pending further enquiries.
An investigation into this incident is ongoing.
