Witness appeal following serious assault in Aldershot

We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious assault in Aldershot last night.

Officers were called at 8.22pm on Wednesday 15 November to a report that a man in his 60s and a 17-year-old boy had suffered serious injuries following an incident on Roberts Road.

The pair were assaulted by three men, who quickly fled the scene in a vehicle.

They were taken to hospital to be treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Since this was reported to us, officers have launched an investigation and have been carrying out various enquiries.

While we are still gathering evidence, there is nothing to suggest there is a wider threat to the public as we currently believe this was an isolated incident.

As part of our enquiries, we believe there may have been potential witnesses in the area and we would like to hear from them.
