On Saturday 9 December at 03:30pm, officers were carrying out routine enquiries in the Waitrose store on Rams Walk, Petersfield, when it was reported to them that three men had entered the store and were concealing products from the shelves. The men had then left the store without attempting to pay.
Officers responded immediately, but the men made off towards the train station, discarding over £2000 worth of stolen items as they went.
An area search was conducted but the men were not located.
