We are appealing for information following the reported theft of a van from Elm Crescent, Hythe on Sunday (10 December).
Although it is currently unclear what time the vehicle – a Ford Transit - was stolen, it was found abandoned and damaged on Long Lane, Holbury at 2.30pm on Sunday.
It’s believed the vehicle was involved in a road traffic incident on Long Lane, in the bus stop opposite The New Forest Academy, at some point between midday and 2.30pm.
We are now appealing for witnesses to the road traffic incident or its aftermath. Did you see anything?
Did you spot the driver, or any other occupants of the van, and could you provide a description of them, or their last direction of travel?
Can you remember when you first spotted the van being driven along, or parked up on Long Lane?
Do you have any footage of the van being driven, or of the road traffic incident itself, including dashcam, doorbell camera, mobile phone, or any CCTV?
If you do have any information or footage that you can share with us, please get in touch and quote incident number 44230504933.
You can contact us on 101, or by calling Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
