We are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in Portsmouth yesterday afternoon (Friday, 7 April).
We were called at 4.45pm to southbound carriageway of Mile End Road, near the bottom of the M275, to a report of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 30-year-old Portsmouth man, was treated by paramedics and the air ambulance before being taken to Southampton General Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Did you see the collision, or the man at the side of the road prior to the incident? Do you have dash cam or other footage which could help our investigation?
Please call us on 101 or report online via our website, quoting 44230137492.
