Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted following a parking dispute in Winchester.
On Friday, September 23 the victim, a 66-year-old man, returned to his car which was parked at Twyford GP Surgery, Hazeley Road.
When he got to his car a man was taking photos of the vehicle and the victim asked him what he was doing. The man verbally abused him about the position of his vehicle before headbutting him.
The victim was then taken into the surgery by a passerby. He suffered a black eye and swollen nose.
The man police want to speak to is described as: white, aged in his 60s, of stocky build with grey thinning hair. He was described as being smartly dressed and is believed to have parked his vehicle outside the carpark on Hazeley Road.
PC David Brown, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to come forward. Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Do you have a dash cam in your vehicle which may have recorded the incident or the offender in the area?
“If you have any information which could help us identify the offender, please call us on 101 quoting 44220389516.”
