We’re appealing for witnesses and information following a robbery in Andover.
Between 7pm and 8pm on Monday, 20 June, a 16-year-old girl was walking up the hill, along the green area between Galahad Close and Camelot Close, with a child in a pushchair when she was approached from behind by a man unknown to her.
The man demanded money and jewellery from the girl before taking items from the pushchair including a blue Ralph Lauren jacket, a black Armani hat with a white logo and a bag.
He then walked off in the direction of Camelot Close.
During the incident, the girl saw a woman in a wheelchair and asked her to call 999.
The girl was not injured.
The bag was subsequently located by Anton Lakes.
The man is described as:
We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone who lives in the area who has private CCTV, including Ring Doorbell footage that may have captured the something.
Perhaps you were driving in the area at the time and have dash-cam footage?
We are also keen to identify the woman in the wheelchair who was asked to call 999. We believe this person may be able to assist with our investigation.
Was this you?
