Appeal for witnesses after man assaulted in Fleet nightclub

We are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted while at Zinc/Popworld nightclub in Fleet in the early hours of this morning (August 28).

It was reported that a man in his 20s was hit several times with a glass or bottle around 1.30am today.

As a result of the attack, he suffered severe facial injuries and has been taken to hospital, where he remains at this time.

Enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to speak with any witnesses to the incident.

In particular, officers want to speak with a woman named Megan, who was with the victim prior to the assault.

It is believed the person who carried out the assault was male, in his mid 20s, around 5ft 8ins tall, white, and with light brown or blonde hair. He was wearing a brown or beige top and cream shorts.
