We are appealing for witnesses, or anyone who may have any information, following a burglary in the Hythe area.
It comes after a motorcycle was stolen from outside a property on Maple Road between 8pm on Sunday 31 October and 8am on Monday 1 November.
Entry was gained via a kitchen window which had been left slightly ajar and the keys stolen along with the motorcycle.
Were you in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious? Perhaps you have CCTV footage? Perhaps you have seen the motorbike (pictured) in the local area?
Anyone with information regarding the incident, or the whereabouts of the motorcycle, is asked to call 101, quoting reference 44210437813. Alternatively, you can submit information to us online via this link https://www.hampshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
As a reminder, we would remind local residents to ensure that any vehicle keys are not left in plain sight in order to deter opportunist burglars.
You can also consider using a signal blocking pouch, known as a Faraday Bag, to store your keys (and any spare sets) which blocks your car key fob from transmitting its code to the vehicle; again deterring would-be criminals.
