We’ve been investigating an incident on Ocean View Road, Ventnor, involving two vehicles at around 4.35pm on 28 July.
It was reported that a Peugeot was forced off the road by another vehicle – described as a Nissan – and damage was subsequently caused to the Peugeot’s windscreen.
Following this incident, it’s reported that an unidentified man handed a piece of paper to the Peugeot driver which contained details of the Nissan.
We want to identify this man as we are confident he has witnessed this incident, and want to speak to him about what he saw.
If this was you, please call us on 101, quoting 44210299695.
Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via their anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org
As part of enquiries, a 28-year-old man from Ventnor has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
He has been bailed until 25 August.
