Officers are appealing for information after a cyclist was seriously injured on the Isle of Wight.
At around 10am on Saturday, 31 July the cyclist, an 80-year-old man, was riding along Chale Street when he came off his bike.
He suffered serious injuries and was taken to hopsital, where he remains at this time.
Sergeant Catherine Edwards, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward and speak to us.
“I would also like to thank local residents for their patience while we carried out our enquiries at the scene and the road was closed for several hours.
