Summary of Conduct

It was alleged that between 22 August, 2024 and 7 March, 2025, PC Light failed to ensure standard procedures were followed when dealing with managed offenders.

Outcome

Allegations were proven and amounted to misconduct, breaching the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Honesty and Integrity, Duties and Responsibilities, Authority, Respect and Courtesy and Orders and Instructions.

Sanction

The former officer would have been dismissed had he not already resigned. He will be placed on the Barred List for a minimum of five years.
