How to report
You must complete the form in one go. You cannot save your progress and come back later. You have up to two hours to complete each page of the form before it times out.
What we’ll ask you for
Please have the following details available if possible:
date and time of the incident
details of the other person or people involved
registration and make of their vehicle
What will happen to your online report
By law, we can only serve a ‘Notice of Intended Prosecution’ to a registered keeper or owner of a motor vehicle within 14 days of an alleged offence.
Your report must be submitted within ten days of the alleged offence to allow us time to investigate.
As the incident you’re reporting took place more than ten days ago, we can't prosecute anyone involved.
However, your report is still valuable as it will improve the information we have about traffic offences and could help us to resolve the issue you’ve raised.
