Investigation continues following shooting in Blackwater

Detectives continue to appeal for information after a teenager was found with gunshot wounds in Blackwater.

Officers were called at 2.56pm on Saturday 10 February to Hearsey Gardens, Blackwater, where they found a 17-year-old boy with serious injuries.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Four people have been arrested in connection with this investigation.

A 16-year-old boy from Blackwater, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.

A 40-year-old man from Blackwater was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been further arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A 34-year-woman from Blackwater was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been further arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. She has been released from custody but remains under investigation.

A 41-year-old man from Farnborough, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released from custody but remains under investigation.

Officers continue to patrol the area to provide reassurance to the community.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone they have not yet spoken to who has information on what happened.
