Appeal for witnesses after three cars damaged in Portsmouth

We’re appealing for witnesses after a van collided with three parked cars in Portsmouth but failed to stop.

Officers were called on Saturday at around 10.40pm, following reports that a white van had collided with three parked cars in Shakespeare Road, Fratton.

The van was seen driving away in the direction of New Road.

The van is described as a high-sided white van, with an 05 registration plate and the driver is described as being a while man, aged between 40 and 50-years-old.

Fortunately no one was injured as a result of the incident.

Officers would also like to speak to any local mechanics who may have had a similar vehicle brought in for repairs.
