We’re appealing for witnesses as we continue to investigate a stabbing in Southampton last Sunday, 10 September.

We’re appealing for witnesses as we continue to investigate a stabbing in Southampton last Sunday, 10 September.

We were called at 8.35am, to Studland Road, Southampton to a report of a man having been stabbed.

Armed officers were deployed to the scene and searched the area.

Six people were arrested at the time in connection with the incident.

Two men aged 19 and 20 from Southampton have since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries until Sunday, 8 October.

A 20-year-old man, and two women aged 19 and 20 all from Southampton and an 18-year-old man from Romsey have also been released but remain under investigation.

The victim suffered serious injuries after being stabbed and was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment where he is now recovering from his injuries. 

Anyone who saw the incident or anyone involved, shortly before or afterwards but hasn’t yet spoken to us, is asked to call detectives on 101 quoting Operation Moxie.
