Appeal for information after Chandler’s Ford and Fair Oak burglaries

Witness appeal

We are appealing for information following a number of burglaries in Chandler’s Ford and Fair Oak.

Houses were targeted during the day and evening, with entry gained through rear/patio doors or windows. 

Jewellery and cash were stolen and safes were targeted. 

The burglaries were reported as follows: 

16 February - Osborne Drive, Chandler’s Ford

18 February - Bournemouth Road, Chandler’s Ford

22 February - Hiltingbury Road, Chandler’s Ford

24 February - Cox Row, Chandler’s Ford

25 February - Beech Close, Chandler’s Ford

25 February - Strawberry Mead, Fair Oak

25 February - Pavillion Close, Fair Oak

25 February - Hursley Road, Chandler’s Ford (two burglaries)

26 February - Scantabout Avenue, Chandler’s Ford

26 February - Lake Road, Chandler’s Ford

Householders are urged to follow some simple crime prevention tips: 

A 19-year-old man and a 25-year-old-man, both from Chandler’s Ford, were arrested in connection with the Beech Close burglary. They have been released under investigation.
