Witness appeal

We’re investigating a suspicious incident that happened on Peartree Avenue at the junction with Spring Road on Friday 9 June shortly before 10pm.

Two 14 year-old girls reported that they were approached by a man they didn’t know on the Freemantle Common side of the road. He showed them his phone which was playing pornographic material, before he walked away laughing. Neither girl was hurt and no physical contact was made with either teenager.

They described the man as:

  • White.
  • Pale complexion.
  • Bald head.
  • Clean shaven.
  • 5ft 8ins tall.
  • Stocky build.
  • Chubby face.
  • Skinny legs.
  • He was wearing beige shorts and a black t-shirt with grey writing on it and a band logo.
